How pyWorkCover always has the latest information about parent
How does the pyWorkCover page always has the latest information about the parent case.
I have created three child cases for a parent case.. and after creating i have updated the parent case.. Now when i open the child case clipboard and observed the pyWorkCover the recent value is present.
How did that happen?
pyWorkCover is a top level page and how did it get updated.. I have also traced but found no trace of parent updating the child case data on pyWOrkCover

If you are just opening the work object from the portal, I expect you are going through the Open activity. This will automatically open the parent object on pyWorkCover. The Obj-Open-by-Handle method will check the deferred list and then the database. If you made changes to the parent earlier and saved those changes then they would be present on the pyWorkCover when the parent work object is opened on that page. You can trace with the DB Query event type to see if the parent is being opened from the database.

Was the child case already open when you updated the parent or did you open it after updating the parent? If you opened it after updating the parent, then the pyWorkCover parent object would be get the updates when opened.
