Calendar Contol off screen in 7.2.2
Hi,
I have an issue where a calendar control (based on a pxDatetime) is appearing off screen or partially off screen. The issue seems to be resolved in 7.3 but is there a workaround or fix in 7.2?
I thought the issue only occurred in Firefox but another colleague reproduces the error in Chrome
(the field is in an overlay)

Hello,
Can we have a screen shot. What is the CONTROL name exactly?

Control is "Date time"

Is it specific to your MODAL? I guess you do not have the same issue from UI Gallery right ?

If I try the date control in a section that is not modal, it works, but of course if the resolution is to large, it is partial off screen but I guess that is expected.
So I think the issue is primarily in the modal dialog (overlay)

Hi,
I checked in my local 7.2.2 instance, and could not reproduce the issue at my end. I checked in Chrome, Firefox & IE.
Anyways, I will be checking if any other user has faced the similar issue and if they have, what is the solution suggested earlier.
Regards,
Rachit

Thanks. Are you testing from overlay window? If not , can you try?

Think so, I used Local Action - Overlay. Am I correct?

Can you please check the below SA article. Local change has been suggested. Please apply the local change and let us know.

Thanks. The link suggests unchecking center overlay That creates the new issue of the overlay being in the corner of the screen =)

Yes, same except we use standard for overlay format and disable clickaway and center overlay are checked. Sometimes the calendar is completely off screen where the only way to see is to zoom out (pressing ctrl -, several times). I also noticed that if you zoom out and in once, the next time you click on the date field the calendar appears the right spot during the session

This problem still persists. If I disable center overlay, the overlay appears to the lower right and requires scrolling. If I keep it checked the date picker appears off screen, sometimes impossible to view unless you zoom way out .
We have a 7.2 dev and a 7.3 test (I know not ideal) . However I added a when condition on the Local Action that launches the overlay and if 7.3 I center, and in 7.2 I don't center. In test, with it centered, in 7.3x, the date picker issue is there. Prior , I thought it was specific to 7.2x. This is using Chrome.
