Creating File System repository with network drive
I'm creating a File System Respository for devOps. Since, one of the network drives is acessible from orchestration and all candidate systems, I tried creating File Respository there by providing the resource path as \\XXX706\common But is not allowing me to save the repository rule. However, when I use any folder from D drive, it saves and connect successfully. I'm getting the following error in logs:- com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.RepositoryException: There was an issue during checking if a file or directory exists. at com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.internal.RepositoryManagerImpl.getFileReference(RepositoryManagerImpl.java:581) ~[integration-engine.jar:?] at com.pega.platform.integrationengine.repository.internal.RepositoryManagerImpl.exists(RepositoryManagerImpl.java:443) ~[integration-engine.jar:?] at com.pegarules.generated.activity.ra_action_validate_883518784956e9adaf184698a927437a$Pz_8_0_1.step(ra_action_validate_883518784956e9adaf184698a927437a.java:800) ~[?:?]
Could you please help me how to use network drive as repository?

Thanks all for the comments..
I got the issue. The application server was running with a different user for which access to the shared drive was not granted. I started it with my id, then I was able to connect the shared drive.

Accessing network drive from orchestrator server using file system repository should not have any issues. Could you please check whether the network drive is accessible from orchestrator server?

Yes, the network drive is accessible from both orchestration and candidate system. I tried mapping the network drive to a Y drive also and then used Y://Common , still the repository rule is not getting saved

Hi AbikashKumarS,
I tried creating a Folder in my D drive called Devops and enabled Folder sharing, now it is available as Network drive. My Test connection is successful and I am able to save my Repository using the below URI.
\\PEGAHOST\Devops
