Logs are not rotating on daily basis

We have migrated websphere pega 7.1.5 on prem to tomcat(7) pega 7.1.5 AWS cloud. Here we updated the prlogging.xml in prweb.war,please find the below changes still the logs are not rolling. Could you please suggest any alternate method.

Just checking, but this is only the ALERT log appender. Were you only trying to roll the ALERT log or the PegaRULES log as well?

In case this is of any use, here are mine from an OOTB 7.2 environment: -
