Embedded Image in Out Bound Email any SMTP

Hi,

We have requirement to send Email to the customer with the images [not as attachment], while sending the email from application i do have images in the email body, but once the email is received from pega the body is not contains the images. Do please suggest the procedure on this. We have tried embedding image base 64 code but the src attribute is getting truncated.
