Assign page list values to a property (csv format)
Hi,
I am using pega 7.2.
I have a page list property which contains a list of values. I need to display these values in a report, which isn't supported (why...i dont understand). So, i created a String property to which I was hoping to loop through these list values after the list is created and assign them to a String property in CSV format.
I have seen posts on similar topics, but they offer different approaches, many of which don't seem to work according to the posters. It seems like a simple task, but i am still unsure how to solve this. If I was writing java, it would be simple, but in Pega it seems complicated.

Hi,
There is an OOTB function which you can use to convert the property of a PageList into CSV format.
pxStringCSVFromPageList which takes two input parameters, a Pagelist property and a propertyName.
You can use this function from the Call-Function method in a step of an activity or from a Declare Expression (For example refer .pyCaseTypesQueryString)

i guess we can use embedded pages in a report definition, is it related to sub reporting as well., or single report definition populating the data?
