Unable to catch the Agent running status using Remote tracer option in PRPC 7.2.2
Hi,
I would like to capture the agent running status from Remote tracer option in the Tracer using V7.2.2. I selected the Dealy option for the agent from the SMA of my Stage server and I saw a instance for it in my Remote tracer dropdown. After selecting this instance, tracer started capturing but after 1 minute or so I see a tracer error and a popup came to close the current tracer session to restart. I saw this approach was working earlier but not in this V7.x version, looks like. Is there any other way to capture the Agent status using remote tracer option from V7.2.2?

The hotfix I mentioned is for 7.2.2. If you're not seeing the issue when tracing from the Agent Management landing page, it means you are not tracing something which will cause the issue (but the issue still exists and could happen). You can install the hotfix if you wish to prevent running into that issue at some point in the future, but it sounds like at this time it is not affecting you.

Please attach the screenshot of the error you are getting and also the tracer dump which contains the error.

If the error is something like "Tracer session error: session <some batch requestor> does not exist", then HFIX-33935 may resolve the issue.
It's also worth noting that in 7.2.2 you can trace agents more easily by going to Designer Studio > System > Operations > Agent Management. Though HFIX-33935 would still be needed to trace from there.

Nick- without having the HF, I am able to trace the agent. Can you or someone from GCS confirm whether our build need this HF or not?

Yes Nick. I was able to run the agent last night in STG env. My purpose got resolved for now. If needed then I will request for it.

Meanwhile, you can try to add some log messages to your agent activity and debug. This is not a solution to your problem, but a workaround.
