I am not very familiar with coaching tip. But I looked into this for you. 

Each CoachingTip contains 3 fields: Tip Name (.Name - Text input), Description (.Description - Text input) and Tip Text (.TipText - Text area). See attached screenshot.

When you create a new CoachingTip and enter values for these 3 fields, the values will be saved in DB and clipboard. But on the other side, I don't think that you can get the values from clipboard to use as the input values for these 3 fields when you create a new CoachingTip.
