Attachment Property?
Hello,
I am wondering what the property type: Attachment is used for? Does it reference an attachment that is currently in the system or is it another way to attach content to the work object (instead of using the Attach Content control)?

What exactly you are referring to? There is no property type: attachment.
It really depend on the architecture you are following. If you are using another system to store/manage your files, you would create a text property and would simply store URL to the file.
Other option is to store file in PRPC, it stores the file in blob in the attachment table.

I am referring to the property shown in the screenshot below. When I open the property of this type it says it is a page of class Embed-Attach-File. How do I use this feature?

Hello Rincy,
I have used that functionality in my application so I understand how that works. My application needs a list of required documents, and this list changes frequently so I made a page list for required documents. What I want to do is include a property in this page list that links to that document category's attachments. I included an Attachment property in this pagelist with the hopes of doing just that but I don't know how to use this functionality.

The Attachment type enables user to easily configure attachments within the same step of the case.

Thank you! Is there a way to have the property show the current case's attachments of a specific attachment type? I have a page list called "Required Documents" and I want each page in the list to link to an attachment from the case. I configured the property to refer to a data page with the Attachment Field Info so I was hoping I could link to the attachment from there. I configured all parameters except the AttachmentFieldName, because that one seems impossible to predict. Do you know if this page type can accomplish this?
