How to remove $ references from a Property?

Greetings. I am trying to convert $PD_pyProductList1$ppxResults$l2$pManufacturer into D_pyProductList1.pxResults(2).Manufacturer , is there any OOTB way or easy way to do this programatically?

There's probably no OOTB way to convert $PD_pyProductList1$ppxResults$l2$pManufacturer into D_pyProductList1.pxResults(2).Manufacturer.
Use either of the following
1. Java step in an activity
2. Function rule
3. edit-input and refer that in property rule form.
and write generic java code which considers all if's and else's.
If you can elaborate your requirement and explain why you need to convert first value to second, may be there's a better and easy approach of achieving this without converting.

Hi,
Thanks for looking into this, I am trying to capture the Name of the property on an event trigger (onChange), i am able to get this into a Param with above internal format, now i need to use this Property Name in my logic to add entries to a data table etc. I did not find an easy way to capture the Name and Data Type of a Property on an event trigger, hence have written a fragment.
