How to set a default value into a property?
Hi ,
I have a small question, when to use data transform or control to set default value to property?
Please explain with some scenario

Hi Preethi,
The main difference among the usage of Data transform and Set-Value comes with code re-usability which the data transform provides to you in your application, apart from this both can do the initialization functionality.

Adding to the above information, if your initialization of the properties can be re-used then placing this code in data transform is the better approach than placing it in multiple Set-Value controls in different places and if your initialization of the property is very specific to your use case and it doesn't needs to be re-used any other place then you can go for Set-Value control.
Hope this gives you more idea about the both usage.

If you want to set same value at multiple sections, you should go with Data Transform rule.
If you want to set value at only one place (At only one section), you can go with control. (you can avoid data transform rule)
