Pega listener

i have a question. In my previous organisation for a particular application the listeners were restarted from the websphere console.those listeners were not listed in the SMA. What is the difference between the usual listeners we find in sma and this one?

Hi ,

I think, only the pega specific listeners , which are the instances of Data-Admin-Connect , can be seen from the SMA.(Email/File Listener)

The applicaiton specific listeners, can't be seen or started from the SMA.
