MS Edge and Pega 7.1.8 Support

We recently created an application in Pega 7.1.8.  In testing, it appears the application is working with MS Edge.  I see from the Platform Support document, support for Edge begins with Pega 7.2.1.  What are the known limitations/issues with using Edge with Pega 7.1.8?  Would Pegasystems recommend using it?

If something is not on the Platform Support document, it doesn't necessarily follow that it won't work - it just means it hasn't been verified.

If you find that MS Edge works on your Portals; then you are free to use it of course - but it does mean that if you find a specific problem (that does NOT by contrast show up on a listed supported browser (etc.), it may not be possible to get a fix from Pega to correct issues - you may also have to fix (or avoid) the issues yourself.
