is PEGA 7.1.8 on IBM WAS Java 8 supported?

Hi... Is PEGA 7.1.8 on IBM Java 8 supported ? We are running it on WAS 8.5.5

PEGA 7 Platform guide only list up to IBM SDK 1.7. But It says Oracle Java SE 8 is supported starting 7.1.8. 

it also said " Beginning in Pega 7.1.9, IBM Java SE 8 is supported on WebSphere version Proprietary information hidden and later."

Want to get some clarification.

               As per platform support guide, IBM java 6,7,8 is supported in IBM 8.5.5 version.
