Edit in Excel Not supported in 7.1 for delegated data tables

Hi,

We have some Data Types(Data Tables) that are user configuration settings and managed by the users. When delegating the data types to User Accessgroups, it doesnt have an option of editing in excel or uploading an excel sheet. In Developer View, we do have an option of Importing from CSV, can someone advise how to get around this? The users need to be able to copy paste into an excel for faster turnarounds.

Bulk import/export of data instances in the delegated environment will become available in Pega 7.2.1. It is not available in 7.2.

Make this local change :

 

For data type delegation Import/Export functionality can be achieved by setting below condition:

Set the below property in a Pre DT of loading of Screen.

Declare_pyDisplay.pyIsExpressModeEnabled = true

Now the Import/Export link functionality will appear.
