How to move data types to different instances
Hi,
I have a data type (formerly data table) and want to move it to different instance. Please let me know how it can be done. i could not see the data instance pzinskey in data table actions button as shown below.

Hi Venkatesh,
You could create a Product file with just the 'Class instances to include' section completed. You can leave the 'Applications to include' and 'RuleSets to include' sections blank if you do not need any of those rules.

Hi Venkatesh,
If you use the Application Packaging wizard there is a step to select the data tables you would like to include in the Product file. When viewing the Product rule generated you will see the class listed in the "Class instances to include" section.

HI venkatesh,
As i know, Data Type is not a separate instance from Class.
Make sure that associated Data pages, Database Table Rules instances were included.

Hi All,
i have added class name in (Class instances to include' section) Product file and imported that jar in new environment but not able to find the data type.
Can any one suggest the approach.

@Vikram22 if you try with the suggestion provided by Carissa then perform the export of the Product rule then perform the import it should work or you can try to add the DATA-ADMIN-DB-TABLE for the data type as shown in the attachment then have a try.

@Vikram22 if you don't mind could you please share the screenshots of the Product rule and import wizard to make sure what is happening during import.
