How to move the data type instance to other environment along with Storage records.
Do any one know how to move the data type instance to other environment along with Storage records?
I tried moving it by including the instance in the RAP but only instance is moved not the stored records and source configuration is also missing in the moved data type.

Hi Vinoth,
You should use "Class instances to include" instead of "Individual instances" in the product rule.
Give your data type class name there and check the instances using preview product file.
Thanks

Yes , use "Class instances to include" and you can also control the number of instaces to include by using "When Filer"
create a when rule in the same class.

I have used this "Class instances to include" already. I have a data class X which has some 7 instances (7 records). The instances are moved. its showing the instances when i click the data class X but when i open the data type, its not showing these records in the local storage.

If they are available and you are not seeing data records in the data type rule then verify "DataTableEditorReport" report definition is available in that class.
RD-"DataTableEditorReport"-this is the source for the Records repeating grid
If you are seeing the records in the source system but not in the destination system, probably this RD is already present in the source system but you have not included it's ruleset in your RAP rule.

DataTableEditorReport for that particular data class was already moved but still the issue persist.

For the instances mismatch, you can download the excel from data type and import it in other environment. It's a easy job.
