Data Type (Local Data Storage)

If I want certain users to only be able to edit local data storage records on a data type is there a way to hide the other tabs or at least prevent those users from being able to modify anything else on a data type? I know of the configuration dashboard but that really doesn't suit our needs so instead these users would get to data types through developer portal (but with some added security of some kind).

Hi,

I think only delegating the local datastorage(datatype) is only possible, where end users will be only able to add/delete records.
