We recently upgraded to Pega 7 from 6.3 and I have few questions

1)  Is it mandatory to convert data tables to data storage?

2) If so, what is the advantage of converting?

3) What are the Pros and Cons of converting?

4) Will the performance of retrieval of record increase converting to local data storage?

I tried converting the data tables to local storage and  getting the below errors. Any thoughts?

** Optimization cannot be performed for classes in this hierarchy because of one or more of the following reasons:they are abstract or in Pega Shipped ruleset or mapped to either pr_other or an external table
