What is the difference between data instance and other instances
I often find people calling some instances like DASS as data instances and other rules like sections, dt, dp as rules.
What exactly differenciates a data instance and a rule instance?
And I have a data model class called PegaABC-Data-Customer.. Can i call an instance of this class as a data instance?

The way I see is this:
all class insatnces derived from Data- can be called data instances whereas for those derived from Rule- are rule instances. Check your class definition to see that class is derived by Data- (including subclass of that).

Also need some clarity on when a property should be created on our Work- and data model data- classes.
I have a requrirement to store customer address whose properties can be created in Work- or as a data class.
What is the best approach and why?

HI Avi,
as far as i know, all resuable properties including Page property shoul be created in Data Layer so that same can be utilized in Work- layer ( while working in UI used frim Work- Layer). As for your Qustion as it seems Customer Address may be a reusable page so I would do it in Data-Layer .

"PegaABC-Data-Customer" is class instance of type "Rule-Obj-Class" but class is derived from Data-, so all the instances of "PegaABC-Data-Customer" are called as data instances.
