What is difference between component application and component?
Hello,
I was going through LSA course. I see the following text under the topic Specialization and component applications in chapter Designing for Specialization.
Pega component applications follow the object-oriented programming (OOP) open/closed principle.
When you use applications as components, you can take a modular approach to application configuration. You can create application layers by building on multiple component applications.
Do not confuse a component application with a component that is a collection of rulesets used to create a small feature that can be added to any Pega Platform application.
I am not able to understand what they mean by component application
What is the difference between component application and components when both are collection of rulesets. Component is basically a Rule-Application where pyMode= component.
Can someone please help on this?
