I am unable to create new application on Pega 7.2.I am getting below error:

Attaching the log files for the same .

Strange error messages I can see in the log

  • A commit cannot be performed because a deferred delete of an instance of class @baseclass failed.
  • The deferred delete failed with the following exception
  • Not returning connection 1 for database "pegarules" to the pool as it previously encountered the following error
  • XML of page with error: <?xml version="1.0"?

Hi Arvind,

Which database I need to check for the synonym?Can I check it via Application or needs to be verified from Database level?

I believe, you are using Oracle as your database, kindly confirm.

You can involve DBA who can do this for you ( checking private synonyms)

Yes Arvind.. we are using oracle database. we have upgraded the system from 7.1.9 to 7.2.

As per our DBA:The migration and update steps were all successful as per the logs.

synyonym exsist  as an Oracle view in the old RULES schema "Rules". However, this does not exist in the new RULES schema "Rules72".

Hi,

I am facing the same problem with a postgres db installation (PRPC 7.2),

could you give any guidance on the local change to do to be able to create a new application?

(error is also on pwbv4_rule_locking)
