Pega 7 portal doesn't render properly
Hi,
We are seeing an issue that intermittently our user portal doesn't render properly. It seems that style sheets or other UI rules are not executed properly. Is there any hot fix for this issue? We are running static content cleaner agent and it seems to be working fine as well.
Thanks.

Hi Vivek,
If you are requiring HFix-22715 (as this SA states) you would need to raise an SR with GCS.

- Do reference the URL of this discussion while creating the SR so the right guidance can be provided
- Do let us know the SR number here if you create an SR so that we may track it through this post

There is not enough information here answer if there is a HFix for this.
What is the exact scenario here? Sporadic CSS/skin corruption?
What portal?
What release of Pega 7?

We have Pega 7.1.7 ML7. Major version is 7 and minor version is 10. I am not sure the exact issue here. I am guessing that somehow CSS/skin is getting corrupted or somehow not getting loaded properly. We have customized our portal for users and managers. It is the user portal which is causing problem.
Hi Vivek,
Your post also seems to imply this is an IE11 specific issue. Is that correct?
Have you in fact confirmed, that when this happens, alternate browsers are ok?
And what do you do to resolve this issue when it happens?
Are you seeing any 404 errors in the logs for CSS?
If so, this SA may apply to your scenario. https://community.pega.com/support/support-articles/portals-displays-contain-missing-style-sheets-404-errors

I have talked to our QA and it is not just an IE11 issue. I will update the title of this discussion to remove IE11. All browsers are exhibiting the same issue. I am not sure if log file contains any 404 issue. I can look into it though.
How can I get the SA?

I really think that this SA applies to our case as well as this is the exactly same issue we are seeing.

SR-A23478 was opened by Vivek. The mentioned hotfix has been packaged and provided.
This hotfix corrects an issue where necessary static content (like CSS) files are incorrectly deleted by a cleanup process that is intended to delete only unused/orphaned static content. It makes changes to the activity pzDeleteOrphanStaticContent.
Hi Syl,
Thank you for updating us here!
