Fresh Pega 7.1.9 Install
Hi,
I have installed fresh pega 7.1.9 on dev environment. when i go to higher environment installation, instead of re-doing the work, can i just simply copy the rules and Data schema?
I believe in higher environments, if we clear few cache tables and few data schema related tables it will work. Can you please confirm? and i can use this as a master copy.
When i installed below are the rule tables and Data schema counts.

A copy of the schema for a fresh install is possible, but remember few instances in Pega are system specific.
Like the system name information is maintained in the System rule which needs to get updated and similarly the DSS holding that information.
Also, you might want to change the Production Level setting between these environments.
If you do a fresh install it would hardly take 1 hour of time, so whether you do a copy of DB or do a fresh install it would be the same amount of time.
