NOLOCK due to data movement exception
We have upgraded the PRPC from 5.5 to 7.1.8. We are getting below exception when processing work objects from workbaskets:
There was a problem with the database when getting a list:
com.pega.pegarules.pub.database.DatabaseException: There was a database problem when performing an RDBExecute: code: 601 SQLState: S0003 Message: Could not continue scan with NOLOCK due to data movement.
This issue is observed in one of the higher environment, in DEV/SIT there is no issue.

Hi,
Is the DB configuration or the AppServer configuration any different between the environments.
Like for example is XA/2-phase commit enabled, or the DB lock settings / configurations any different.
Can you also share the complete stack trace ?

There is no change in appserver/DB configurations between the environments. I will cross check the settings which you have informed.
Below is the stack trace i have got from log:

Caused by SQL Problems.
Problem #1, SQLState S0003, Error code 601: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Could not continue scan with NOLOCK due to data movement.

If you are using Websphere could you please check the what is the value for the webSphereDefaultIsolationLevel custom property. It should be set it to 2.
