Restriction on Rule set version access during development
Hi,
Can we restrict some set of developers to access only some set of rule set versions during the development? Like I have 2 teams and only one ruleset. team 1 has to work on versions 01-01-01 to 01-01-05 and team 2 has to work on 01-01-06 to 01-01-10 version. Is this possible?

Sounds like you are needing to branch your rulesets. Branches allow for parallel development work to take place within an isolated space (the branch) without impacting other teams or their timeframes. This is especially useful on large projects because the business can release a portion of the project should any team fall behind schedule. This progress can also be tracked by other team members so they don’t overwrite or undo any work that has already been completed.
This type of development is great not only for timeframe flexibility but also for R&D development. Development teams can use Branching to experiment with code and push the envelope without impacting the overall project. As these teams continue to develop independently, their work can be easily integrated and released once conflicts are resolved and its stable.
