Data table editing and creation problems
Hi,
I'm working on the Introduction to Data Tables exercise. I'm using IE 11.
I have 2 problems:
1) I'm unable to edit the table using the rule form. When I try to add a row I'm initially presented with one field to edit (see screenshot), then when I finish entering that field and hit enter I'm taken to first field in the row (ID) and after I edit ID and hit enter I'm taken to a newly created row - row 2. There is no opportunity to edit other fields beyond the first 2.
2) When I try to "edit in excel" the data table excel opens up blank (I just started trial period for Office 360 (see screenshot )) where I've overlayed the rule form popup window over the excel file that opens when I click on edit in excel - as you can see even the first 2 fields of row 1 that I entered don't load up in excel.
Any idea?

are you using the online exercise system?
or the PVS (virtual machine) that you download?
If you are using the online exercise system, could you post the URL (or private message it to me) so I can have a look?

sorry this is so late.
I'm wondering if this is an IE issue. I am a Mac user, and haven't tried this in Windows and IE yet - but I will later this evening. For now, try using Chrome.
When I do, I can edit the data table as expected. If I add a row, I get this:

I get this:
Try in Chrome and let me know how it goes.

I noticed you mentioned you were using Office 360 and I do not see that listed in the supported platform guide for 7.1.6. (see page 15)

Seems you would have to use a local install of MS Office.

Hi Eddie.. I face the same issue in IE and as per your suggestion, i tried in chrome.. but still i am facing the same issue.. When i try to edit an existing row or append a new row, only the first 2 fields are editable..
