Wait shape not working when format is that of date-time

Hi,

I am trying to understand the wait shape usages in controlling the flow. I have used the "Reference date time" option in wait shape. Whenever I am using a date-time property having a value 10 days from now ,the WAIT shape seems not working. From the audit log on case ,it seems the immediately the "service level event" is picking up rather than waiting as per the property referenced. But if the change the property type to "date" (not date time) WAIT shape is behaving properly. I am on 7.4 PVS. Is there any reason for this behaviour
