Date-Time Calendar Displays System DateTime default
Hi Team,
We have a requirement to display user timezone DateTime(EST) on click of Calendar icon instead of system timezone Datetime lets say IST. By Default field is supposed to be blank.
How can we achieve it? I tried to look into the parameters of pxDateTime and DateTime control but could not find any specific parameter which can decide what timezone timings can be shown on click of Calendar icon.

Thanks for posting on PSC.
Pega gives preference to Windows locale configured at end user's machine followed by browser's locale.
Though, it can be overridden by:-
1. Locale settings for a specific user session in the Designer Studio by selecting Navigate:-Designer Studio-> User Interface-> Localization Tools -> Locale Settings and configure it according to business requirement at your end(Refer below).
Verify using "Settings" button. You have to log out and log in back to view the changes.
2.Locale Settings on the Operator Record
On the record's Profile tab of an operator rule, the localization section contains Default Locale field. Configure it with the desired locale like "en_US".
It has the highest precedence, the user can work with an entire localized application regardless of the workstation locale.

Please rectify my understanding of your requirement, you want to have EST timezone reflecting in Date/Time control(Calender).While your server is in IST time zone.
So, if you want to override all the operator's locale.
An activity can change a user locale by calling the PublicAPI function setLocaleName().
