Using free form layout

Hi,

 

I assume using free form layout is not recommended as it might have some issue while upgrading pega version to 7. Is my assumption correct? If yes, what would be the issue and how it can be addressed.?

if the UI is built using smart layout, we can convert smart layout to dynamic layout with one click. after conversion please validate the when rule conditions...

if the UI is built using free form layout, we've to manual convert the section to dynamic layout.

If you use the free form layout, it will not be able to take advantage of the responsive UI capabilities of Pega 7. Phani suggested the solution to address it in his post above.
