Tool for Alerting Broken Queue cases
Hi Team,
I wanted to design a monitoring tool for alerting broken Queues.
Is there any tool in place in Pega already to monitor this?
Or Can you please provide me an idea to design a tool?

Pega 7 has a built in interactive landing page that shows the flow errors along with buttons that will allow you to remedy the issue. To navigate to here in Pega 7 click the Designer Studio button > Process & Rules > Processes > Flow Errors.

Pega OOTB feature wont be much of a help for you since it will provide you only the details related to the broken entry item but not the relevant functional details like case id/flow name-assignment name corresponding to which this broken entry pertains etc.
For Custom Solution:
You can create an agent to periodically/recurringly query (using a LV/Report Def) the pr_sys_queue_sla table for entries with itemstatus as Broken-Process with a join between pxinsname (from pr_sys_queue_sla) and pxrefqueue (from assign-workbasket/worklist) and can also fetch the corresponding flowname and pxrefobjectinsname(case id) that broken entry corresponds to. Later in the agent activity you can create an excel with all these details fetched and configure it to be mailed to an alert distribution list.
