Restricting access to Flow actions using privilege has issues

Hi,

We have a flow action which we want to restrict to certain users only. For this we have added a privilege to the flow action and added the privilege in the Access Role of the appropriate users. Now what is happening is, if an unauthorized user is trying to open any such assignment, then the case-wide or flow-wide local actions are showing up for the user since the flow action is not accesible. We want the user to see a "You are not authorized" message on screen like it usiually happens when a user is not authorized to access a flow action.

 

Anybody else faced this issue? Any pointers?

Hi Priyanka,

 

I would suggest you to use when rule for security tab in flow action. You can use @HaveRole(tools, "RoleName")

 

orelse you can define Rolenames in the workbasket rule itself.
