Quiz question on Best Practices for Managing Reference Data lesson
Hi,
Which of the following are true about data table columns? (Choose Two)
- The columns can be multi-valued.
- The columns must be single value.
- There must be a column that represents a unique identifier.
- Columns can reference other data class types.
According to the quiz columns must be single value. However the table creation wizard allows to pick from two different Property Modes: Single Value and Value List.
It is very confusing. Could anyone explain this?

Thanks Andrew. However I'm not having problems understanding the definition of Value List. What I'm having problems with is trying to understand why the table creation wizard allows you to configure properties as either Single Value or Value List and, at the same time, the correct answer for quiz is Single Value only. Am I missing something out?

You are right, this is confusing. And, is something we know needs to be clarified.
Yes, the option to select a Value List as the Mode is available, but that is a bug. If you try to generate the data table you will get a number of errors. The meaningful error is the second of the three which mentions an invalid mode.
I am going to submit an change request to swap out the distractor for "the columns can be multi-valued."

The general rules are: there must be a primary key, and the columns can only be a single value.
