Post upgrade to 7.1.8, the popup is not closing in IE 11.0
We have a repeating layout of links. On click of any link, a popup window opens up with additional information to select. After selecting the additional information the parent repeating layout will be refreshed. This has been implemented using a custom HTML to refresh the parent window. This is working fine in PRPC 5.4 and IE8. After upgrading to PRPC 7.1.8, it is not working in IE 11.0. The popup is not closing.

What is code used to close the popup. Is it supported by IE 11.0.
The recommended approach is to completly move away from the custom code.
This requirement can also be achieved using non-custom code.

Issuse has been fixed by implementing Pega 7.1.8 out of the box repeat grid layout. Used the out of the box Link control and on click event used 'Open Local Action' option. The root cause of the issue identified as, to refresh the parent window, in the custom HTML code , used 'fireEvent()' method. This method is not supported in IE 11.0.
