Not Able To Add Sub Case
Hello Team,
Not able to select the appropriate subcase from the case type list.Acually i am trying to reconfigure the appropriate step(Benefit Enrollment) in a case type(Onboarding). I am not getting the option to select the case type.
Please find below screen shot where i am not able to select the option for adding the case. But if select create a top case option i am getting the all the cases which are availble in the case designer. Please help me here to resolve.

It is likely that when you created the Benefits Enrollment and Setup Payroll case types, you did not specify for these case type to be a subcase. That's why you were not able to locate them in the "Create a subcase" choice.
To set Benefits Enrollment and Setup Payroll as subcases of Onboarding case type:
1. In Case Explorer, click the triangle next to Onboarding case type to "Open" the case type rule
2. In the "Processes" tab of the case type rule, locate the "COVERABLE WORK TYPES" and click the "+" to add a new row.
3. Add both SAE-HRServices-Work-BenefitsEnrollment and SAE-HRServices-Work-SetupPayroll into 2 separate rows.
4. Save the Onboarding case type rule.
5. Refresh the Case Explorer.

We can also accomplish the same result described by CHUAT by selecting Add a Childcase from the Onboarding triangle menu. In the pop-up dialog, click the Existing Case Type radio button, select Benefits Enrollment from the drop-down menu, and click Submit. Repeat the above for Setup Payroll. The Coverable Work Types list on the Onboarding case type rule is automatically populated.
