Locale settings not to apply for Date format

We are changing locale settings to 'th_TH' on clicking a link. As TH calendar is different from regular Gregorian calendar we are getting TH calendar only. I want to see localized TH text messages only but not Date format (calendar). We are using OOTB pxDateTime control. Can anyone please let me know whether this is possible or not

This has been addresssed based on the suggestion from a SME as follows:

Solution is

1. set Locale to th_EN

2.  set base currency to THB. 

 

Hope , the above will helpfull to anyothers facing the similar issue.
