I would like to override the user entry date time format to a specific format, so that user can enter the date in date time control consistently irrespective of his locale.

for e.g. date format in english locale allow us to enter the date in date control as following format "dd/mm/yyyy"

where as in french locale system is restricting user to enter the date as following format "yyyy-mm-dd"

I've tried uncheck an option "Ignore month and year position from locale settings" from date control presentation tab. This is not making any difference.
