function for Date format

Hi Team,

Would you please help me out on below scenario.

From service we are getting the Start date - 2016-10-30 & End date - 2017-10-30 and we need to map the same in response whatever date we are getting from service.

Do we have any functions using that we can map the property inside that get the exact date which we are receiving in service response?

A quick help will be much appreciated.
