Guidance on mapping transactional data in different DB schema
Suppose a client has multiple applications running in the same box. After upgradation, they want rules of all these application be mapped in same Rules schema, but the data schema will be different for each application. Need guidance on how to map application specific transactional data in separate DB schema per application. Thanks in advance.

Can you give more details on what you consider as application specific transactional data ?
Work tables can be mapped to a different schema, but it is recommended to maintain the PRPC data instances like operator IDs & access groups for all the applications in a PegaData schema

Application specific transactional data means work objects, application specific custom data tables etc.

Create new schema and tables in it.
Then create D-A-DB-Table instances to map your application specific classes to the tables in new schema.
I am not sure how to segregate the existing data and move to application specific tables. Has to be done manually I guess.

The question is, suppose I have 2 application running in same Application server. I want rules of both application will be in single rule schema, but the data of the 2 application will be in 2 different data schema under same database. How to implement that? How I will segregate application specific Data to two different data schema?

I assume you are talking about Split Schema configuration. You can't have two different data schemas with sinlge rules schema. Becaus the data schema will contain the all the work-, data- related tables which includes system related tables like pr_operators, pr_data_admin etc.
However if you want to maintain seperate schema for only application specific work tables that is still possible. You need to create D-A-DT instnace for that specific work table and map it to dedicated applicaiton specific work schema.
