Cleaning Data schema after a split schema upgrade

Hi,

Is it advisable to delete the rules data from the data schema after upgrading 6 to version 7(split schema). If so, I am looking something provided by PEGA as part of installation/upgrade packages/documents.

Yes, it is always recomeneded to cleanup the unused tables, Refere to Post upgrade steps "Clenaup Unused Tables" section in the upgrade guide.

 

Use the Optimize Schema  wizard for cleaning up these unused tabels from System > Database >Modify Schema landing page

One limitation is you can't download the DDL and run it, either you need to click on proceed with changes button or manually download the unused tables and drop it form the respective schema's in the database.
