Hi,

For a Upgrade assessment, I upgrade Pega 6.3SP1 with NBFS 6.3.1 to the following in ECS labs.

Pega 7.1.9

FSIF 7.16

PCF 7.12

KYC FS 7.13

POB FS 7.12

I logged into application after making necessary changes to All the related application rules to point to ALL the latest framework application rules/rulesets.

When I clicked LANDING PAGE, I received the following error in TRACER .

Failed to find a 'RULE-NAVIGATION' with the name 'REQUIREMENTSEXPLORER' that applies to 'Pega-Landing'. There were 1 rules with this name in the rulebase, but none matched this request. The 1 rules named 'REQUIREMENTSEXPLORER' defined in the rulebase are: 1 related to applies-to class 'Pega-Landing', but were defined in rulesets which are not in your rulesetlist: 'PegaRequirements:01-03-07'.

As the latest version of PegaRequirements in the stack is 07-15, the issue is happening.

I fixed by doing the following

I Copied all the following inter-related rules from PegaRequirements:01-03-07 to Custom ruleset.

ID/Class/RupeType:

1.      RequirementsExplorer Pega-Landing /Navigation

2.      RequirementsExplorer/ Rule-RequirementSet/Activity

3.      FilterReqSets/ Rule-RequirementSet/Activity

4.      GetRequirements/ Rule-RequirementSet/Activity

5.      GetEachRequirement/ Rule-RequirementSet/Activity

6.      ProductExplorer/Code-Pega-List/HTML

My questions are

1. Is the fix I provided is the right approach ?

2. Is there any reason why the Navigation rule "REQUIREMENTSEXPLORER" NOT in the latest FSIF version ?

3. Is there any alternative to this rule ?
