Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-MODEL' with the name 'PYDEFAULT' that applies to '@baseclass'
hi,
I found a problem with this issued, before I found an error like this.
and then i using SMA (as recommended in this link) : https://collaborate.pega.com/question/failure-opening-rule-instance-error-baseclass
but not successful ( still cannot open),
and then i delete class from refactor but still not deleted.

so i create again this class, but when at last step ( after click finish) , there are something error .
i got error message "PYCOMMIT error :Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-MODEL' with the name 'PYDEFAULT' that applies to :'ClassPath.PYDEFAULT".
after that, i got error whenever try to open others class .
there is message error in tracer :

It can happen for multiple reason and the most popular one is the loss of class context at runtime thereby looking for the rule at @baseclass.
Can you please provide a bit more detail like what is your use case and when exactly you are facing this issue ?
Also. which version you are on ?

I've attached the error log of prweb today ( it seems like different error ), for detail error .

Thanks for sharing the log. Upon a quick review, I can see that the majority of error in the logs says this
Batch activity "Assign-.AgentBulkProcessing" threw:
com.pega.pegarules.pub.generator.UnresolvedAssemblyError: Failed to find instance Code-Pega-List.pyDefault
.

Caused by: com.pega.pegarules.pub.generator.RuleNotFoundException: Failed to find a 'RULE-OBJ-MODEL' with the name 'PYDEFAULT' that applies to 'Code-Pega-List'.
This seems to be a different issue and I am not sure how it can affect your integration wizard outcome.
Anyway, if I just focus on this UnresolvedAssemblyError then I can see there are multiple old cases out of which few suggests a clean server restart along with cache clearing. If you have not tried the same , then you can consider doing the same,
PLEASE TAKE backups before trying this step.
I would also like to suggest you to try out this same step in any other environment at your end and see whether you are able to do it successfully or not.

thanks for the information that you given, but i want to ask ( just to make sure) , whether the property is in @baseclass can be made by our rules-set?
because when I saw the class path at @baseclass, in DATA TRANSFORM , pyDefault is not found. And activity doUIAction in step 8, I saw a reference Data Transform pyDefault:
why integration wizard can remove in @baseclass pyDefault, while error message is PYDEFAULT' that applies to :'myClassApplicationPath.PYDEFAULT" .

The datatransform, pyDefault should be present in @baseclass under Pega-Desktop 07-10-03 ruleset .
It is a problem with the rule resolution for which it is not able to find the rule correctly.
Have you tried running the wizard once again ? What is the outcome ?

Thanks for the explanation , I think the problem maybe there is no pyDefault present in @baseclass under Pega-Desktop 07-10-03 ruleset. I've tried in my exercise , i create pyDefault present to @baseclass in my ruleset and successfully run applications smoothly. I don't know if i try in my development .
i can't running the wizard, because all of the menu designer studio can't be access. I'm still confused why the integration wizard can impact all stuff in @baseclass, where in the integration wizard i put my own class. Can you help me for the next step .
for example , what needs to do for back up the application secure from events like this.

we have experienced the same issue after Deleting the entries created by "Connector and Metadata Wizard" in our newly upgraded PEGA.7.2.2 enviroment
Resolution:
Move the PYDEFAULT Rule from Working environment.
