Flow processing considerations - in mobile offline mode

In the PDN article it is given that we must use cases in flows.

Does it mean we have to choose the step type as "Case"? 

And also if we have to use a screen flow it would be included as a sub flow, will this work in offline mode?

You must use Case Types for offline.  On case type definition you can enter steps which create single assignment flows.  These work offline.  For a screenflow, you must first go manually create this screenflow in your application and then refer to that screenflow directly from case type step.
