Close modal window
Hi,
Currenly in a button action set i called show harness to display the section in Modal window(with mami, mini, close) icons- Normal window.
I customised the section by adding a submit button. On click of submit button i need to call a activity and close the window.
I used Run script 'window.close()' it throws exception saying page or property reference is invalid.
Please advice on this.
I am using pega 7.1.8

Try this
On Click -- Run Script:
Function Name: script:pega.u.d.submit
Parameters:
Name: Blank
Value: "pyActivity=SaveAndContinue&CloseAfterSave=true&apyActivity=GoToPreviousTask"

This is same as configuring the button with following action,
Process work -> Save with close after save option checked

To archive this only if it is a single screen with a submit button , if not needed to open a flow in modal window , we have used t run a local action on the modal window and used the default submit buttons and it works perfectly.
