modal window is closed even after Validation rule fails
Hi All,
I have configured validation rule to check the property on Modal window. If validation fails also, Modal window closes. but able to see error message in clipboard.
Kindly help to restrict modal window not to be closed if validation failed.

@NirmalaJ2240, Please set the validation messages in the property which is in the Modal window.

Yes, did so. But it is not stopping to close modal window. Modal window is closed even there are some error messages on the fields in Modal window screen.

@NirmalaJ2240 Include Errorlist section to your module window, Its will display error details and the modal window not close it.

Thanks for your reply. Can you please let me know what should be passed as parameter for that section. While I passes the current Page and try, messages are shown on the top but still modal window is closed.
Note: I have launched modal window from user created Page

@NirmalaJ2240 Select the pas as current page parameter to the section, Please check your perform harness have any customization.
Please try to configure the page set message and check it.

If possible you can create the custom modal template with the reference of the OOTB modal template and customize the close screen button to not to close the window if there are any errors in the validation.
You can use the when condition in the close screen button with the function @HasMessages(PageName). If it is true then don't close the window.
