Can we add history to a parent/main work object if we are working on a process which creates temporary Child WO.
I have a main Work Object. On Click of button i am calling a flow in modal dialog. This process flow creates a temporary wo as i dont want it save or modify main/parent work object. But at the end of this flow i need to add history to parent/main work object, with details from temporary WO.
Any suggestions ?

You can pass pzInskey of parent work object to the flow.
At the end of the modal flow create a history entry programatically and give reference of the parent's pzInsKey, history entry will be attached to parent WO.

Write code to add history to parent work object using History-Add method in an activity and call that activity on submission of final screen. But here we might face some challenges as modal dialog opens all new thread.
