Meet Jeff:
Jeff is a Solution Architect in the Robotics and Workforce Intelligence group. He has been designing and developing robotic automation projects for over 10 years using the Pega Robotics Studio and its predecessor products. He has worked with clients in Financial Services, Insurance, Telecommunications, Collections and Call Centers.

Since Pega Robotics is new to many of you, feel free to ask general questions or ask more specific implementation questions. Hi Rami,
This is an implementation question that I can not answer without knowing your applications. Your automation can control visibility and whether the app gets focus to some extent, but it really depends on the behavior of the app itself. If that app attempts to steal focus, you may have to code to prevent that reactively. Some apps can be automated while the interface is hidden, some cannot. My advice to you is to test this type of functionality with your app early in the process.

Hi Jeff,
I did not find "MicrosoftOutlook component" in my Openspan studio toolbox. I have installed OpenSpan Studio Proprietary information hidden. Do I need to refer any libraries to get them in..?

Hi Arun,
When you installed did you install Office support? That will be required to use the connectors. If the connectors do not show up in your Toolbox, right-click on the toolbox and select Choose Items:
Then select the connector - it will be in OpenSpan.Office assembly:

Got it Jeff. I have selected none for Office support during Installation. Now can I install that by modifying openspan installation or need to do fresh installation only..?
