Addition implementation layer only to an existing application and not creating a new implementation application in PEGA 7
Hello,
My question is related to adding an implementation layer to an existing applications FW layer in PEGA 7.1.7. Say that for this purpose:
1. I already have an application in the organization-FW-Implementation 1 format like MyCo-FW-Loan-AutoLoan
2. I want to add another implementation layer HomeLoan to the above application
The issue is that in PEGA 7 I can only see 'Create New Application' option which lets me create an 'Implementation layer application' by building one on an existing FW layer. If I use this, it would create another APPLICATION (like MyCo-HomeLoan-Work) which would inherit from the Loan FW.
However my requirement is to only add another implementation layer and not an entire application to extend the Loan FW.
In 6.x, when we run the application acclerator, there is an option to either create new application or update existing application. I do not see such options in PEGA 7.

An implementation layer is really just another application. So you will create a new application that is based on the FW, but set to generate the implementation layer only.
