Pega engineering has identified an issue affecting clients who use the bulk import option on the Actions landing page in the Customer Decision Hub (CDH) Portal with Revision Management. This issue applies to Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) clients on version 24.2.
Bulk-imported Actions and their changes are not included in the revision deployment package and, as a result, are not deployed to Production. No user warning is provided when this occurs. A hotfix has been created to remediate this issue. Until this hotfix is applied, bulk imported Actions and any changes will not be included in the revision deployment package and deployed to Production.
Background: Bulk Action import in Revision Management in CDH 24.2
The Bulk Import of Actions feature streamlines the creation and management of decisioning propositions by allowing users to import multiple Actions at once from a file. This simplifies the Action setup process within the CDH Portal, ensuring each Action is correctly associated with its respective Issue and Group.
This functionality integrates with Revision Management’s controlled change framework, enabling marketers to perform bulk imports within their Business Operations Environment (BOE). It supports pre-deployment testing and maintains full governance throughout the process.
Which Clients are affected?
This issue affects clients who are using Revision Management and Bulk importing Actions using the Actions landing page in the CDH Portal.
If you are NOT using the bulk import of Actions feature, in conjunction with Revision management, then this does NOT affect you.
