Issue

Certain client environments may be configured to use internal Constellation Content Delivery Network (CDN) endpoints (staging-cdn.constellation.pega.io or prod-cdn.constellation.pega.io). These internal endpoints are scheduled for decommissioning by November 30, 2026. 

Clients using either retiring endpoint should update the ConstellationPegaStaticURL DSS value to the supported production Constellation CDN endpoint or leave the DSS value empty.  

This helps maintain continued access to Constellation static assets with supported resiliency, performance, and operational coverage. 

Clients that are impacted 

Clients with ConstellationPegaStaticURL configured to one of the following values need to take action: 

• https://staging-cdn.constellation.pega.io  

• https://prod-cdn.constellation.pega.io 

Complete this review and any required DSS update before November 30, 2026. 

Deployment-Specific Guidance 

Air-Gapped Deployments 

Clients operating in air-gapped environments are not impacted if they use their own internally hosted CDN or static asset distribution mechanism and do not reference the retiring internal CDN endpoints. 

Pega Cloud Clients 

The following action is needed if ConstellationPegaStaticURL DSS is configured with either of the retiring endpoints:

• Action: 

  • Leave the DSS value empty (recommended)  

  • Or update it to: https://release.constellation.pega.com

Client-Managed Cloud / On-Premises Clients 

• If ConstellationPegaStaticURL is configured with either of the retiring internal CDN endpoints, update the DSS value to: 

  • https://release.constellation.pega.com 

No additional application changes are required beyond updating the DSS value.
